Stage Plot Maker App Reviews

My 7 piece band is too big or something because the input list and the "other items" list goes directly through the middle of the stage plot... Cluttering the stage plot and making the list unreadable. Please refund my money and take your crap app back

Very clumsy, no guitars (??). Waste of money

Whenever youre performing in a club or at some greater location, the event manager may ask you for a technical rider. In general, this document contains your bands stage floorplan, the channel assignment for the mixing console and the time schedule (to tell your host when to pick up the band at the hotel, when to start/finish the sound check and so on). This easy-to-use app helps you to "draw" your bands floorplan. It comes along with a basic set of icons that can be selected and placed on your plots page. Mixer input related objects like all kind of microphones and XLR jacks are listed in a column on the left hand side of your plots page, while all other items like wedges, guitar stands, furniture etc. are listed in a column in the center of the page. Too bad, that the two tables do collide with your plot what reduces the room left to draw your stage layout dramatically. What else is missing? * Stop the draft being erased whenever the iPad/iPhone switches to standby mode * Provide an integrated a sort function to list all objects in alphabetical order despite their sequence of entry * Offer a grid for aligning the icons precisely * Add further icons for the P. A. stuff, the recording and lighting equipment * Provide a file exchange function for sending the plot to your band mates and technician for further editing Since the app developer is well known for his excellent customer service and his great IT skills, I guess that it is just a matter of weeks until well see these enhancements being launched...;<)

Could be good, but has major glitches... Went to label amp, got stuck in the settings page and couldnt back to my stage plot. I wasted $5 on this.

Please refund my money. This is a shameful gouge. The app is useless.

Many of the features are hard to use. You cannot edit an input list without adding the items individually to the plot. Cant get two finger rotating to work. Im hopeful that some updates will make it more useable.

Worst app Ive ever spent money on in the App Store! Constantly crashes, rotate doesnt work, doesnt have commonly used instruments listed - wow, I could go on and on. Please run from this App. It doesnt look like they update frequently either. Simply terrible.

This is pretty much useless for me, and I have one of the simplest band setups ever. Under the instruments option, there are no guitars whatsoever. There are a few different drums and pianos, thats it. For mics, there is no choice of stands. I didnt find anything "professional" about it. Wish I could get a refund.

This app wasnt nearly as pro as the screenshots show and the previous reviews do it no justice. The developer shouldve offered this for free and taken feedback. The cost alone said.. "Hey, Im worth it" when in fact.. It isnt. Do not purchase.

Could be cool. To many bugs. Please work out the kinks ASAP! Wish I would have read the reviews. $4 down the drain at this point.

I also use set list maker by Arlo Leach. Both are EXCELLENT apps. Intuitive layout and very useful for pre-planning gigs. A real time saver for gig setup.

Do not pay for this app!! Very hard to use, very limited features, full of bugs and crashes constantly.

This app does not function properly and is a complete waste of money.

I cant understand how this app got through any kind of quality control. I wouldve rather set $4 on fire.

I agree with the person who says they would have rather set $4.00 on fire. I hate when you buy an app and can’t get your money back. As a musician, sometimes I don’t even break even with gigs. This app was a waste of money! It is limited and VERY hard to use. I didn’t even want to give it the one star.

Overall Great App! Used this for a last minute stage plot request. Anyways, the app does sometimes close out on itself. And the grey boxes always stay turned on even when you arent selecting the item, which becomes a problem when trying to align instrument parts. I rate this a 5 despicable those few problems. I suggest you add a short tutorial if you can and maybe add guitar bass and acoustic. Please add that to the instrument section.

This app has been very useful as a communication tool for creating quick and easy stage setup diagrams to show the desired position for each band member, which band members need a power outlets, as well as each persons monitor preferences. Its been great to be able to provide those stage plots to venue owners and show producers. They have all been both impressed and thankful for the information, and they are usually happy to oblige! As for all of the negative reviews, Im completely stumped! If you want help, youve gotta ask for it or youre never gonna get it. And this is the wrong place to be asking for that help! Anyone who knows anything about the iOS App Store knows that developers have NO WAY to respond to reviews. You need to contact the developer directly for assistance. I have been a long-time user of Arlos other apps, BandHelper and Set List Maker, and anyone who has ever reached out to Arlo for assistance with a problem knows that he is SUPER helpful and quick to respond to issues with his apps. (And while Im at it, the developers are not able to provide refunds. You need to contact Apple for that! Ive had very good luck getting app refunds when it was justified.)

Completely unusable unless you are a solo artist. The stage size is too small, the items are tool large with no way to scale, once you start adding things to the stage the edit screen makes it almost impossible to see what you are moving, and to top it all off you have no way of editing your input list.... This is a waste of time and money.

Waste of money. 3.99$ for what? Items are too big, stage is too small, not enough items.
